'Dror' - PTSD rehabilitation program and supportive community for veterans
We will walk with you step by step, helping you return to live.
“Post-trauma rehabilitation requires comprehensive care of every aspect of life — personal, social and family relationships, and occupational. Only through this holistic approach can we achieve deep recovery and a full return to living.”
Neri Sraya, Head of Rehabilitation Services, The Summit Institute
Living with PTSD often means carrying a heavy daily burden—hypervigilance, sleepless nights, sudden waves of panic or anger, social withdrawal, and feelings of loneliness. In this reality, holding a job or studing, maintaining relationships, or even following a simple routine can feel out of reach.
Dror, a PTSD rehabilitation program for veterans, by The Summit Institute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, offers both expert-led treatment and the strength of a supportive community. Together, we help you rebuild your life step by step and move toward renewed independence to embrace life anew.
The program is for all military veterans, who have been recognized by the Ministry of Defense.

FAQ
How do I know if the program is right for me?
Once you reach out, we’ll schedule a short call and an introductory meeting. This gives us a chance to get to know you, understand your needs, and decide together which care pathways best fits.
Are there any costs involved?
The Home-Based Support track is free of charge. The Dror House track includes shared housing and living expenses, so it involves a fee. If you’re eligible for rent assistance through the Ministry of Defense Rehabilitation Department, that support can be applied here.
Do I need a referral from the Ministry of Defense, or can I contact you directly?
The program is in partnership with the Ministry of Defense Rehabilitation Department, so most participants join through their referral. That said, you are welcome to reach out to us directly and we’ll be glad to assist.
What’s expected of me as a participant?
For participants referred by the Ministry of Defense, their approval is required.
For everyone, what’s most important is the motivation to begin the rehabilitation journey, the willingness to create a personalized care plan, and the commitment to see it through. These are the foundations that make real change possible.
What makes the Dror Program different?
Unlike other programs, Dror takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation, addressing every area of life: emotional, social, vocational and personal. It combines individualized therapy with the strength of a supportive peer community.
